Prof. Jens Sønksen

Dr. Jens Sønksen is currently Chair Professor of Urology at University of Copenhagen and Head of Urological Research Centre, Department of Urology, Herlev Hospital, Denmark and serve as President of the Danish Association of Urology and Adjunct Secretary General of the European Association of Urology. Dr. Sønksen has published more than 150 scientific papers and book chapters. Based on Dr. Sønksen’s research, the first home medical vibration device for nerve induction of ejaculation in spinal cord injured men was developed.  Dr. Sønksen’s clinical research includes ejaculatory and erectile dysfunction, male infertility, lower urinary tract dysfunction as well as urological cancers.


Prof. Klaus Krogh

Klaus Krogh is professor of gastroenterology and consultant gastroenterologist at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. His Phd from 2000 and his doctoral thesis from 2004 were both on bowel dysfunction in persons with spinal cord injury. Klaus Krogh has published 140 papers in peer review journals, mostly within interactions between the nervous system and bowel function. He had supervised 13 doctors during their Phd studies. Klaus Krogh has been invited speaker at numerous international conferences and chaired the working group on International Spinal Cord Injury Bowel Function Data Sets.


Prof. Nanna Finnerup

Nanna Finnerup, MD, PhD, is Professor in pain research at the Danish Pain Research Center, Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University, Denmark. Dr. Finnerup has authored more than 130 refereed publications. Her main research interest is the pathophysiology and therapy of neuropathic pain. Current research areas include spinal cord injury pain, chemotherapy-induced neuropathic pain, painful diabetic polyneuropathy, neuropharmacology, clinical trials, and systematic reviews. Dr Finnerup is a vice-chair of NeuPSIG, the neuropathic pain SIG of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and section editor for PAIN.
